Review of Wallton’s( China market) Developing Process

    Wallton has been taking the technology exploration and survey of smart home as its key developing strategy since its entrance to China in 2006. However, exploiting the smart home market is just an attempt to the market after entering China. After entering to China, Wallton had made an integrated survey to China market’s demands, consuming features, human& culture environment and the developing status of smart home, improving and developing the products and technology as per the survey’s features. In the process of Wallton’s market exploration and technology innovation in China in 2006, it has not only done a good job in sales, but also made a revolutionary success in the core technology’s reformation.


    Before its entering to China in 2005, Wallton mostly provided technology support and core technology module to the native manufacturers of smart home. It began its product sales and manufacture in China in Nov. 2005 after several years’ market exploration. In order to ensure that Wallton’s products will not be limited by the culture, consuming concept and objective conditions between the two countries, Wallton had invested the first set of smart home products with technology reforming according to China market’s demands after its entrance to China. Its product range includes smart inductor, smart illumination and switch, infrared ray detector, household safety alarm, fingerprint controller, smart remote control device and smart digital recreational product, etc. When selling the products manufactured, Wallton has worked out different solutions for customers’ various kinds of demands as per the products’ own features and predicts of consuming market.


     In order to enhance the products’ competitive ability, Wallton’s headquarters has expounded the slogan of “sale in a small scale, reform in a wide range, combine with the facts, create the advanced smart technology.” The advantage of Wallton’s sale in a “small scale” is that the market’s changing factors and consumers’ feedbacks can be learned in time. Although the smart home products of Wallton’s brand had used the core smart technology from the American headquarters, it still has its own shortages just like any other international or domestic smart products. However, in order to make our products more suitable to the Chinese consumers’ consuming features, and bring the most conveniences to Wallton’s consumers in their life and work, Wallton has been following up closely the market’s reflects to proceed with its technology innovation when it launched its whole set of smart home products of the first generation. In August 2006, Wallton successfully transform the traditional X-10 smart product to Wallton t-bus products. Compared to X-10 smart products, Wallton t-bus products not only have such advantages as of low cost and high end, but also that t-bus system has applied the technology of separating electric and electronic. It has transformed to the electronic control of 5v~8v in the area where human’s body can touch from the traditional smart home products’ control of “electric and electronic being united”. Besides, Wallton has enhanced its products’ loading ability of single path. It promoted to 12~16A from the traditional smart products’ single path ability of 5A, thus  has basically eliminated the operating dangerousness. In addition, Wallton has transformed the distracting installation of the traditional X-10products to the concentrated installation according to the developing characteristics and the demands of culture& consuming environment of the international architecture field. It is replaced by the t-bus system that has double model of “concentrate or distracting” control. It has eliminated the installation trouble and control defects of traditional smart home in the way of extending or upgrading by boundless connect in parallel, thus to achieve the effect of “ enjoy the convenience of a whole life with just one time of installation( distribution).”
 

     It had brought intense reflects within the field after Wallton launched the second generation’s smart home products based on t-bus system. With the consumers’ praise, Wallton proceeded with its effort by successfully introducing the newest 2.4G wireless network technology from Shenzhen Walltech Science& Technology Co. Ltd. in Oct. 2006. It combined 2.4G wireless network technology with t-bus system. It has replaced the traditional smart home products’ control model of infrared, RF and 433M/315M wireless network by the universally used 2.4G wireless network control model of various accesses, fast and steady signals, multi-direction transmission and long- distance control. The third generation’s 2.4G t-bus smart home products are planned to be launched in March 2007.


    What Wallton has manufactured are showpieces. “Technology realizes the perfect life” is Wallton’s eternal brand tenet. The aim of Wallton develops its smart technology is to popularize the smart home products to the whole country or even to the whole globe. Wallton follows the route of “Technology creates competitive ability”. In the sale market route of 2006, when Wallton has made some fruits in the market extending by the market model of “small scale”, its products have won a good reputation in China with one year’s technology reform and market summarization. Wallton has launched the 2.4G smart control products in March 2007. At the same time, Wallton will recruit the first rank of agents (the city rank) all over the nation. With mature technology and perfect products, Wallton has begun its competition in China.
